This subject is the second of a three-part comprehensive introduction to the fields of Telecommunications and Data Communications. This subject begins by reviewing the Data and Voice Communication and its various concepts and technologies. It then focuses on Packet and Circuit Switching WAN Technologies such as X.25, Frame Relay, ISDN and broadband Wide Area Networks. The subject then introduces students to the Cisco-supported networking technologies and to help them understand these it requires them to design and build networks and configure Cisco routers. This later part is based on the curriculum from second semester of Cisco Networking Academy Program.
